Volunteer with Econet and help protect and improve your local environment
Econet is a wildlife conservation group that undertakes a wide range of activities relating to the conservation of the natural environment in public open spaces and other sites in and around Reading. Our volunteers undertake activities such as coppicing, hedgelaying, scrub clearance, control of non-native species, path creation and maintenance, and willow harvesting.
By volunteering with Econet, you’ll have the chance to learn and apply new conservation skills. New volunteers are always welcome. There’s no need to commit to regular attendance – you can join tasks whenever you’re available, or even for part of a task. No experience is required, training will be provided and task leaders are always on hand to offer guidance as necessary, and tools and gloves will be supplied.
If you’re interested in volunteering with Econet, please complete our registration form or contact us.
